Hello fellow Pipsters–still being “Schooled” at the pipschool–on the college level, but I wanted to say hi! (Great site!!) Just started an interest in forex…for a variety of reasons, and to especially learn the market…
Although I have to say, as a female, wanted to know if there are others out there? Maybe we can chat about our trading experiences and learning curves, hoping to find our own “breakout” strategies! =)

Nice to see other ladies on this forum. This chickie has been reading until she turns green about FX. FX is a renewed interest for me as I had read on FX trading years ago (2001), but just didn’t make the jump into trading. Gonna do it this time. Have been trading with a demo account and doing OK. Need to open a small account to get the toes wet with action. Hopefully, I’ll learn a lot, make some mistakes, and share those experiences with other newbies on this forum. There’s great stuff on this forum and thanks to all who post!

Yes there are a handful or so of us here and glad to see more. At first someone thought I was a guy :eek:, but no matter, I preferred it that way if it meant being treated equal in what seems like a male dominated arena.
There’s Tess & Jocelyn in the Alternative Technical Template thread who really know what they’re talking about but they’re way past my level although I do enjoy the way they describe the action and pick up a pointer here and there 
I’ve been demoing for about 10 mons now and feeling more confident all the time, and plan to open a live account very soon.
This site/forum is a great home base, but I’m always surfing the net to expand on what I find here. Although I’ve been computer fluent for over 20 years, I’m not that avid a chat room groupie :o…perhaps it’s the problems (viruses) my kids have unknowningly let in through their exposure to msn messenger or chat that has tainted it for me. Actually I finally visited the chat room here but it doesn’t seem to the choice of the chatters here so much. Then because of my time zone PST, I’m not always in sync when others are as there are so many here from all over the world.
