Another dose of reality why you uniformed fail

Trade in demo and all is well. You then go live and you lose your arses.

Your brokers do what’s called Price Shading. The bigger and more established they are there’s no question. How do you think they got there?

If they aren’t a STP/ECN it goes the same.

Open your eyes to what your really up against.

Explain more because from what I’ve heard it’s just emotion linked between you and your money that messes shit up.

The broker may come in and mess your stuff if you’re just winning alot which is like gambling lets assume you keep winning on one table the casino is just gonna leave everything and have their eyes on you and maybe also kick you out because what you’re doing is just winning and them losing.

If you’re new to trading and you trade with tiny SL’s or exits and TP’s and holding times in the minutes rather than days, you don’t have a sustainable profitable strategy. You’re just asking to get killed by volatility - whether its real or artificial is irrelevant.

An explanation of Price Shading… for the uninformed…

I imagine there could have been ways to put this advice less arrogantly. Thanks for sharing, anyway.

Easy there @JamesF… No arrogance intended… just a play on the thread name…

I’m here to add content… not comments…

It’s because, most of the newcomers were unconscious to learn in their demo but on the live, they are so serious to make money!

Yes there is something with broker but it’s mostly about psychology. When you trade in demo you know that you are not losing your money. You remain indifferent. But when you trade in real account, you become conscious. You now know profit and loss depends on your decision. Fear, greed, and joy starts working. Demo teachs us how our mind should be while trading in real account.

I agree with you Ferdous. Psychology is what its all about. Trading real money as opposed to a demo account feels completely different. It’s always good when starting out to set up a micro account. Demo accounts are good for testing/investigating. Live trading needs to be taken seriously and your approach should follow suit as you can make/lose money very quickly in forex
