Anybody else on Currensee.com?

Any friend of Tymen’s is welcome!

Are you guys all in one team?

It works like this, every person builds his own team, so even if Phil and I are in each others teams it doesn’t mean that we have to have the exact same teams.

That was a nicely confusing sentence huh

I just allow people from BP in my team and I think Phil does the same.

OK, I did do a search for your username here on Currensee but had no luck. Exactly how do we find one another…? I’d be happy to post my info here should anyone want to join, but I’m not sure how I should go about it.

I call myself Angus MacGyver over there. The search feature isn’t very good along with several other things. Hopefully it’ll be improved over time.

Phil calls himself Phil G btw.

Digging up an old thread
myfxbook does support Oanda you have to manually update the url for your history every 24 hrs for it to stay current. The analysis tools give you a nice overview of your trading. you can use a demo or real account, but if you say your account is real and its not your account wont show as verified. You can limit what info is public but if its public anyone can see it.
I am hesatant to share my info but I will you can see what happens when the rules are not followed:o I started my system at the beginning of Dec.

my user name is the same there as it is here.
the chart above is a link to my account stats.

I should mention that Babypips is going to release something similar soon.

Currencee now has Oanda support.
It does not seem to work right or I have not set it up correctly I am waiting for some help from them.

Yes babypips has released something similar for mt4 users…mt4pips.com. It hooks up to your real or demo mt4 account. If you have trades open you can monitor them remotely, and you can get stats of closed trades in a variety of ways.

I dont use Mt4 so it will not work for me I did send a request to them to add Oanda support. meet4pips does look pretty good.

Is that the same at meetpips.com?...If so, the thing I don’t like about it is that I have to enter all the details about the trade…price, pair, and when the order triggered etc…I made an entry error once and it looked like I lost $2k…lol…that was the last time I used it.

At least with these types of services,…currensee and mt4pips, you can focus on your results, not your thumbs…

Thanks for the heads up on Oanda support!

However, it seems to me that I have to input my Oanda login info to get it to work - and not even on a ssl encrypted page. Am I missing something? If not, then I’ll just have to pass - my Oanda login info is for my eyes only.

I hold an account with currensee but I much prefer mt4pips, mt4pips doesn’t have as many options but they are getting there. The interface is a lot nicer as well.

I have both although I almost only use mt4pips now since that’s where my fxpro demo is linked to

Old thread, probably b/c everyone knows about currensee by now… I’ve posted this on forexpeacearmy as well.

First of all, they charge success fees for successful trades but nothing happens when trades are unsuccessful, which means that, say, you break even at the end of the year according to their figures, but because you got charged for successful trades you have to be doing a lot better than break even to actually break even.

In other words, if percentage-wise you are at 0% you’d think you haven’t made or lost anything but you still have to deduct all of the success fees which means you have to be up a good few percents to not make any money at all. Keep this in mind when they tell you how great it is that you’re only charged after successful trades.

Secondly, don’t even dream of getting accurate and transparent records of your trades unless you log in to several different places and download several files and copy and paste and fill in forms and so on and so forth. Again, the numbers you see on your profile page are cosmeticized.

To give them their fair due, they are quick in responding to emails and explaining why they’re taking your money for doing a lousy job.
