Anybody willing to write a quick EA for me?

Hey guys,

I’m not really a big fan of EA’s but I have a simple EA which I would just like to backtest and demo a bit on MT4. My intentions for the EA isn’t really to profit much from it, more as a side project and who knows it may well be a viable. I do know people trading this way and have reported about 80% success given their chosen SL and TP’s and so was quite intrigued by the simplicity of it.

It’s quite a simple EA, just involves RSI and EMA’s and some logic.

I don’t know exactly how simple you mean but their is an online EA builder you could use, it can be found in google just search “online EA maker”. It’s easy to make EAs that have MA crosses + other indicators.

Yeah, I tried a free online one, with “and” and “or” logic. But for it didn’t seem to work, I followed the exact instructions that were given in the tutorial, but when it backtested, it took no trades, but only drew lines.

The trading signals are simple, it’s the money management that requires some coding which I do not know how.

Here is the EA builder I used, but did not work after trying 5+ times.

An 80% success rate is a very poor way to evaluate the potential of an EA strategy. I have seen (and written) EAs with a 95% win rate that lost as much money as ones with 50% win rates. I doubt if this one will work either.

I’m nto saying that the EA is 80% successful, I’m saying the traders following this trading system was initially used manually, and their reported win rate was 80%. I don’t expect much or get rich from this EA, it’s just an interesting test I want to try.

I probably have the same EA you are looking for somewhere, if you write your strategy specifics I might be able to write it for you but I am busy at the moment so be prepared to wait
