Are online courses a good place to start?

I was talking to a representative from the online course/platform Bizintra, and he offered me a three month sponsored (free) account with either Forex or Cityindex. I would deposit £250 with the broker and I have three month free access to their online courses, and if after the three months I want to continue to pay half the price of what I would have otherwise if I joined separately. I could also withdraw my money at any time within the three months, so, as he put it, I ‘have nothing to lose’. I can’t seem to find any red flags, but he does seem to be pushing it quite hard.

I am also taking the School of Pipsology course here - I was initially hoping to start a demo account and learn as I continue this course, and once I graduate and/or feel confident I’ll start trading with small amounts of money. However, Bizintra sounds like another opportunity.

Has anyone had any experience with Bizintra? Should I go for it, since it is free?

Stay away! Almost all of the paid courses are valueless; you can start with BabyPips School; it’s free but so much useful!

He said I wouldn’t have to pay, just make an account with a partner broker and make a deposit. The broker would then pay my fees to the company for the first 3 months, but if I withdraw my entire balance with them, my subscription to the company stops. I just worry that after going through the BabyPips School I would have no direction and would need to sign up for courses anyway to get started - is this the usual case or am I being overly paranoid?

so many online courses right now available and most of them are found to be scam , so be careful when choosing a online course

To be fully honest and after more than 10y in the industry of Forex, many are offering courses, but a very little are really useful. Despite any commercial offer you have I highly recommend you to take all the Babypips trainings accessible. It’s totally free and honestly one of t he most easy to understand and covering a maximum of topic. (Not because I’m writing on their forum, but I’m always seeing the same to anyone and I don’t take commission for that !).
Then try for free a demo mod with a broker and see how it goes. When you will start to be successful you can think in investing your 250£
You can withdraw your money at anytime ? You will be surprise how many time when you want to do so nobody is answering to you anymore. Have never heard about Bizintra but I would recommend to start with what is available for Free before starting locking some money somewhere.

Hope it helps,
Happy pips,

Don’t waste your time with training courses as such. Spend your time finding traders who are making a profit and finding out what they are doing and what they are not doing.

Surely you want to be a great trader, not a great course buyer?

Just as others have been telling you, you don’t need to deposit anything to any broker. At this stage you don’t even need a live account. So if you deposit that money, you will be forced to trade on a live account and you will lose your money. The guy or group is a partner with that broker, and they will increase your trading fees and spreads just because you registered through a partner and the partner needs to be paid commissions. Don’t do it.

Stick to babypips school and youtube tutorial videos. Get a demo account from any broker and practice. If you ever need to use a live account, get a No deposit bonus up to $500 from Forexchief or up to $1000 from insta. Note: I am not recommending these brokers, only use their free welcome bonus to practice on a live account without risking your own money. Got it?

It’s very old strategy of scamming; till now the same advice; stay away!

To start what ? Learning forex ? They probably are, why do you asking anyway. I bet you really need to make it all happening. Just need some space for that ■■■■ really. I do hope it will be working out all the way really. I do not get why people charge for the info.

I once held negotiations with a guru on a possible training course at one of the forums, but no agreement was reached. I explained to the so-called teacher that I did not want to buy a pig in a poke. I wanted to receive some guarantees or at least some evidence that the knowledge he offers is worth the price. In response, of course, there were only assurances that I will become one of the most successful traders in the world, so there is nothing to worry about. In general, the attempt to take training courses failed. In YouTube, of course, I saw enough instructional material, which were some kinda course videos. That was sometimes interesting, but not really useful. If you have enough motivation and power of will, you can learn everything on forums without any courses.
