Does anyone have experience with ATC BROKERS in the US? Are they a true ECN/STP Broker?
Please go through Clint’s answer to this. Hope this will help.
Thanks! I reached out to him to see if he has any experience with them.
Yes, I have used ATC brokers in the US and I can say that it is a true ECN broker offering 200x leverage, 50+ instruments to trade, and a variety of accounts to its clients. However, there are other true ECN brokers like Alpari, Turnkey-Forex, and Go Markets that I have personally used and often recommend to others if they are looking for low spreads, low commissions.
Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a “true ECN broker”. That’s just marketing lingo that doesn’t really mean anything.
ATC Broker is not even an actual broker. They are CFTC registered as an introducing broker.
This means that they refer new customers to an FX broker who then handles the actual trade execution.
Another example is Ally Forex.
Ally Forex acts as an introducing broker to FOREX.com.
In the US, these are the only companies that can legally operate as retail FX brokers:
- FOREX.com
- IG
- OANDA
- TD Ameritrade
- Interactive Brokers
