Im coming from the think or swim platform to metatrader 5. Is there a way that you can backtest an indicator and place trades or is it that you can only see how the indicator would perform without actually test trading it. Like how think or swim is, you can go to On Demand and trade in the past. Is there a platform that could allow me to do this with indicators?
Are you asking about MT4? Check out YouTube. There are videos on how to use the Strategy Tester. It does what you are describing I believe.
