Yes im Emerging markets institutional traders using flows to better understand what is going on the mkt… They getting full colour and see where is big sellers or buyers so thats work pretty well… Most big investors also trying to get mkt colour from brokers, so thats help very well! 
But how I can have that? Its not easy not all brokers say that.

Most brokers sending flows to a clients and u can always try to have good relationship with brokers and drink coffe with them) also u need to work with good investment firms who has good institutional flow!
