Beginner demo account

Good day everyone!
I just finished babypips course and i started a demo account at ic markets with meta trader 5, and i input $200 in my balance with 1:1 leverage. But meta trader 5 only has micro lots and i cannot buy anything what can i do?

I use MetaTrader 4 and have never had a problem. Have you tried MetaTrader 4 or why did you choose MetaTrader 5 ?

i got it, i have a demo STANDARD ACCOUNT. thats why i cannot buy anthing because i have no leverage

Take a look at Oanda. They allow you to trade in “units” rather than “lots”. So you can literally place a trade with 1 unit and you’re not restricted to placing trades with 1000 units or (0.01 lot size).

Oanda currently offers MT4 as a platform but they are looking into providing an MT5 connector too. ETA for the MT5 connector is unknown as yet.

thanks for finishing the pips school , try to trade in demo with the knowledge that you have gained from school. dont use high leverage. that’s all.

First try to test your skills with demo account and get more practice and develop your skills and knowledge so it will be better for you to become a successful trader.

Exactly. Practice on demo account is very essential in order to become a successful trader. It is really helpful.

I agree on that. Demo trading is must, after all its our money which is at stake.

testing in demo account is more appropriate and perfect decision but successful trader is an another part. its a long term process. be focused on practice.

Can anyone tell me why I can’t logged in yo my demo? I tried many times and still no connection it doesn’t work I dont know whats wrong I did but I follow all what in registration says I watch also videos still not working

demo is the master place to acquire all basic knowledge and experience but the main problem is most of the beginners we have always take demo as a time passing issue , for that reason we got nothing from there.

honestly speaking the knowledge we take from demo account actually not works in a real account , this is the main reason why we ignore the demo account.

before using live trading i use all my trading strategies and high leverage in demo account , this approach always supports me to avoid unfortunate risk and loss before real account.

How much did the school help?

It is really important to test all your knowledge on a demo account before you go on risking your money. You must not forget that the number of people losing money in the market is far more than the number of people making money. So, you better be thoughtful about what you are trying to achieve with the market.

You can make the most of your demo account as an inexperienced trader by trying with different trading markets, trading periods, and techniques to see which one works best for you. You can establish your own trading style by practising various trading tactics on a simulated market.
