Yes, I do that sometimes when I don’t want to risk a possible future downturn in the market. And when it is about using high leverage as a beginner, you better don’t use it if you don’t want to lose money that you don’t even have.

Are you using stop losses? What is your preference?

Depends. If the market is moving in my direction I wait and the moment I see a downhill, I exit beforehand.

If I set a stop loss, I leave the trade as it is and don’t intervene if I see it going against me.
