PS, just in case you are interested and didn’t already know, Jay started a book club thread and on the second or third page, ICT has posted a link to a site that lets you download Trading books for free. I’m obviously not suggesting you need books, but it’s a handy resource, I’ve actually already downloaded 3 that I was going to buy for Xmas. Jay then intends to hold a weekly discussion about a chosen book. I think that will be cool.

Took a short this morning while fighting with the HoGettes to eat their breakfasts. When I got to work and checked it on my phone I realised that amongst the fuss I had forgot to put my stop in. So cut it off for a $3 loss. ( therein lies a lesson ) Then took a short from 1-3421, targeting 1-3320, but chickened out 1-3345.
This takes my account now to $276. which is way way more than I was hoping for at the end of this week. Account up by just under 25% this week.
Might not trade again this week unless the ECB send me a personal letter outlining their plans as I’m happy to finish the week on this total.
$300 by Xmas now evermore realistic.

Trading the US session is not always that easy.
UK session is much more easier because of the sudden volatility that comes into the market after sleepy asian session.
TP1 on weekly long hit. TP2? Pobably a stretch but I’ll wait and see.
Taken a short from 1.3344 a few mins ago - was starting to look a little toppy on the 15m. Will move stop to BE pretty quickly in case it takes off again. Caught a chunk of the early rise for +1.7% so don’t fancy giving it back. TP of 1.33.

Yep 15m phase didn’t really work out. Was just a punt we might see a bit of a deeper pullback after the initial rejection at the 38% fib. Ended up ducking out for +13 after 1.3320 held a couple of times. Cue price plummeting probably…
PA retesting 23rd close/24th open but given todays already push up past this… I’d not risk a short.
Well done on TP1 RC !! Will you get TP2?? I hope so. I went long 1-3323 about 2 hours ago and price has barely moved since. I’m looking for 1-3370…

I am flat today with those mixed pickles. My h1/4 bowl says up too, but not sure. Daily says down a little before up. Plus I do not like the wick there. Had a long order yesterday, but was not filled at 13285. 1 Pips too conservative.

Anyway I’ve left my stop at 1-3293, just one lot. Grand scheme of things this week I don’t mind giving 30 pips back if worse comes to worse
Tough call right now… PA midway between the last high and low and quite time. I’ll wait until new daily open and see what Asian decides before I commit to a daily trade.

Still have my long going from 3323. Although I think I’m in danger of dying of boredom as it’s done vitually nothing since I placed it. Mind you, I suppose nothing is better than a loss.
Looking for 3370, though I think if it moves it may go a bit higher, 3370 would do me though.
Thats typical Asian Hog LOL… a Wolf in sheeps clothing. Typically big money quitely accumulates and then its a breakout of range for the day. My set up is strongly suggesting long but it could go as low as 3284?
Got out at 3350 RC. All things considered it was a good move.
I know price probably looks as though it’s going up but it’s too late at night for me now, it’s been a good week so far.

Agreed hog good job on this week. Glad if I didnt do it someone else did. Asian thats my kitten right now and I know why I hate cats. But just get your small moves here and there if you sit here long enough you can catch some nice moves but there far and few between. The nice gains I got the other week where from letting my trades run into LO and beyond. Last week and this one seem to be burning me so I have decided to put the baseball bat away and just try for a basehit instead of the homerun. Hopefully it works out right now I am down for the week but not by much so I wont cry. My month will still end great no matter what happens from here. I will say though I got alot of respect for you and happy to see to fight you way back from a bad situation. It takes alot to make it here and I am not there yet but working on it. It takes more to alomost blow out your account and realize that it was you and fix it and fight your way back. I applaud you it takes alot to do that.
