Hello all,
I am a novice looking into Forex trading. Apparently TDameritrade doesn’t allow OH or AZ residents to trade in Forex. I looked at couple other brokers and from what in understand that they charge the spread as their fee. For example they charge 1.5 for EUR/USD trading. What does that translate to dollar value? I am just trying to understand how much would i be paying for commission on each trade of lets say 1 mini lot.

in us Forex brokers are not so many , i have seen so many us brokers run their broker platform from Cyprus, by the way , i have not live experience with any US brokers.
Check the Babypips Brokers section, there is a lot of information there, especially on that topic.
i think you should ask this question in broker section in every popular forum community , its a beginner section where we generally discuss about newcomers trading issue.
As an option - try brokers that are popular. For example, I work with the broker Amarkets, and I am quite satisfied with the working conditions with him.
before choosing a broker its more appropriate to visit FPA which is really trust able and traders always express their views in there.
