I did a search and kept getting a ton of posts, so I ask: what’s the best place to open a demo account? I’d like to get the feel of trading on margin using 50:1 leverage. Is that enough background info?
If you like the MT4 platform there are plenty of places that would be good for a demo. There are a lot of proprietary platforms so you should try a variety of those to see the differences. I only use about 1:20 leverage most of the time but most go to at least 1:100. Here are my favorites.
MIG Bank (Swiss) - My live broker but demo is the same. Only has MT4, proprietary platform on the way.
Dukascopy (Swiss) - I like their iPhone platform. MT4 only in demo at this time.
Varengold Bank (German) - No experience with them have heard good things.
ACM (Swiss) - I really like their proprietary platform, using it to demo their multi account manager.
