Hello everyone,
New to trading and I am obsessed. The plan is to educate myself as much as possible, learn and master a trading style for long term trades and short term trades. I hope to quit my job by the end of this year and become a full time trader.
Before I can accomplish this goal, I wanted to hear from different perspectives about what trading methods are best for short term trades (1hr, 4 hr chart) and what trading methods are best for longer term trades 4hr chart +).
Also, if you have any recommendations as far as where I can learn the most about trading methods whether its a book or website, I would greatly appreciate it!

For newbie long term trading is good as it helps to develop trading psychology. And for long term H4 and D1 time frames are good. But above all, the best is what works for you. What works for me may not work for you. By study and experiment you have to find out what you understand the most and what works for you.

All trading systems are good, you just need to practice enough to justify the best one for you.
I liked your trading system & time frame idea! Because, I am a long-term trader & Iām using the D1 as well as H4.
A trading system can be best as per your knowledge and skills. It depends on the person that how he can learn it and implement with trading.
