Better to increase lot size or leverage?

Initially I dropped both because I was incurring some large losses and wanted to put the brakes on.

The way I settled on means I can change my risk on a trade by trade or currency by currency basis just by changing the lot size for each trade. With leverage any change occurs across all trades so it is not as flexible

I like to increase in lot size than leverage. I can increase it as I required . Some times when I am sure about profit I use high lot so that I can collect profit in just few pips. Different traders had different idea about use of leverage and lot . We choose what is better according to our skill.

welll but we need care of margin that was used , we must keep the margin in safe during trade with open position using lots size as proportional with available balance , so we can reduce the possibility of stop out

You must first increase the leverage, then lot size (but if you have affordable fund, no need to adjust the leverage). I remember broker can adjust the leverage of your account.

I guess in my opinion, especially if uncertain of the trading style or trading strategy you are using, ts better to keep the leverage low and just increase the lot size in case of certainty of a profitable trade, less hassle

I think it’s back to the trader himself because different condition will be different point of view about increase lot size or leverage as choice in trading. For me personally, I prefer to increase lot size step by step with same percentage as my capital is increasing than using lower leverage although I realized that I need to use lower leverage too when I reached certain amount of capital too. If I increased the lot size then the percentage of profit will be same but the amount of profit will be increasing as the capital increase.
