It may be worth finding a service that lets you share images as you chat. MSN messenger or skype maybe. Or maybe a some sort of online document we could all mark up like a google doc or zoho doc.

I found GU remarkably easy to make money on yesterday… 105 pips.
I am normally one of the users of longer TF’s here… typically daily charts. But one of my sons uses 1h & 4h charts to determin PA trend and trades the 5m & 15m only in that direction from upper/ lower boll band (dependant on direction of trend) to center boll and out for perhaps 6-10 pips on the 5m during low volatility and 10-25 pips on the 15m during higher volatility. It has a very high win rate 90% plus.
I will after much ribbing from him for being a day chartist be trying his method out for the rest of the week.

I have provisionally created Chat - it’s open for the moment so you just have to create a sign up and login.
May be a slow start but have a look and let me know what you think. There is a chat option and a section for uploading photos/blogs. If you upload a photo, you can then discuss the link in the chat room…not quite web conferencing but close.
Not trying to take anything away from this thread but obviously some of you want live chat even just for a short while so maybe it’s worth trying it out? Not everyone has Yahoo or Skype or wants to reveal their email address publicly…I’m sure most of us will carry on using both this thread and the chat if it works out.
I use live chat in some other trading forums and that works very well.
Don’t expect people to be about all the time though

I would love for us to be able to do a Skype room or something, where we would have chat, uploads and voice. I know if I had 5 minutes with one of you guys I’d pick up much more (and much faster) than 5 pages of thread on a forum, honestly.

A lot can be picked up from live trading. The only thing missing from this one at present is voice, which isn’t always necessary and takes a lot of effort IMO. Good thing is, it’s 24/7 so good for all the people who do Londond NY, Asian, etc.
Sounds like a plan SM. From reading the details of the site we need to log into the site web address plus the chat room number. Have you set up a room/ number? If so probably best to PM those you wish to include with the key.
are you sure? i did not have that problem, but maybe he updated it idk. all i had to do was sign up and i was done

I do a similar thing when I want faster action and am bored to death. I look for the most volatle pair and play the M1 and M5. It’s better then going to the casino and playing the slots and you make more money. It cures your boredom in a hurry but you feel like you’re worked your your butt off after a few hours.
I am a slow prodding type of thinker with a very complicated chart set-up. Most would say it looks like a bunch of spaghetti but it suits my need for information. The set-up reacts very different on the lower time frames and I have to keep reminding myself of this fact or I get slow on the draw. I set-up 10 lines of bollinger bands plus one centerline and trade between the seventh line on the high and the three line on the bottom. On reverse trend trades I’m looking at the centerline very closely but don’t automatically exit unless the angle of the bols is steep. For those with the urge to trade it can be a lot of fun. I’d suggest trying it on a demo first like anything else.
The main reason most traders do this is to offset the reverses on their longer trades. If their long on the higher time frames they can also be making money when the PA is dropping.

Been beavering away on another work in progress. PA is going to be up on where its at right now over the daily cycle. At least thats what my strat is telling me. Will see.
