Book (worms) club

Heya all
As the topic states it’s book related.

Let’s all share interesting reads. Not necessarily FX and trading related.
But anything that you’ve enjoyed and found interesting or valuable.

Let me start with a few:
The richest man in Babylon by George S. Clason - quite good. Simplified to the max. Gives good lessons in personal finance/wealth management.
Laisure reads:

  • Pratchet’s Diskworld series
  • All of James Clavell’s books (Shogun, Tai-pan, Trading House, Rat King etc)
  • Game of Thrones (books) by George R.R. Martin
  • Raymond Feist’s Riftwar Saga and the series after it.
  • Anything by Jack London
  • Harry Harrison’s books (Deathworld and The Stainless steel rat series)

Your turn!

I would recommend:
The Witcher series of books by Andrzej Sapkowski - if you like grimdark fantasy books (apart from Game of Thrones, obviously)
The Sector General series by James White - an old sci-fi classic
Dune by Frank Herbert - another old sci-fi classic
The Martian by Andy Weir - I had a lot of fun with this one
The Bridge of Birds by Barry Hughart - a fantasy book I also had a lot of fun with.
