Hi everyone.
I am a total noob but I do want to learn. I am an independant professional Climbing Guide, which leaves me considerable spare time. Me and my wife also happen to have some cash (around $5000) which is NOT vital to our finances, it is indeed risk capital. That’s why I want to try forex trading.
I do not want, though, to gamble with the money. I want to learn as much as possible before going live for obvious reasons. I ALREADY finished BabyPips School, which I found really good. It is remarkable that someone took the time an effort to share valuable information, to actually teach noobs like me. I’ve also been demo trading for about a month, using different systems, experimenting, getting the feel of it.
Where do I go now to learn some more? Can anyone recommend books, websites or related stuff to learn some more?
I am not afraid of technicalities and I am eager to learn. Actually, before I decided to embrace the life of a professional climber, I actually was a mathematician. I believe that, maybe, Forex can give me some good way to learn interesting stuff, in some way related to my previous career, and at the same time make some money.
I do need direction, though, any books? magazines?
Thank you very much. Any help will be appreciated.
PS: I already searched the forums. I found that many people like J. Welles Wilder’s book. I will look for it. On the other hand didn’t find much more. A few threads asking for books easy to understand etc, and a long thread with a long list of books. That, I could find in amazon. I would like to know, if possible, what books people here have read and what are their comments about them. Besides I thought it would be cool to have a thread where all these book recommendations are piled together.
Cheers and good trading!
