‘As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it’
- A. Einstein
Hi guys,
I’ve finished the babypips course, and I really, really enjoyed it. It’s a fantastically written, easy-to-digest 101 course that leaves me feeling enthused about further learning.
Now that I’ve finished it, I know I have to get into the real stuff. Books, further learning courses, more practice etc. etc. etc., and so if any of you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear about them.
My current list is of potential further learning is:
FX Bootcamp guide to Strategic and Tactical FOREX Trading - Wayne McDonell
Day Trading and Swing Trading the Currency Market - Kathy Lien
One Good Trade - Mike Bellafiore
Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets - John J Murphy
The New Trading For A Living - Alexander Elder
I’d love to hear all your thoughts on the above books + any other recommendations. You guys have already helped me a bunch, so thank you!
Note: To all newbies (like me), when you’re going through the course, open up a demo account and follow the course with practical learning relevant to the part of the course you’re on. If you’re learning about oscillators and combined indicators, put them on a chart and trade with them! If you’re learning about multiple timeframe analysis, practice trying to find a trend and appropriate entry point at the same time!
