I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the direction of some reading material.
I enjoyed babypips though it is heavily delivered in layman’s terms, though i’m sure this is its intention.
What I need is a more depth look into trading in regards to :
*Whats happening behind the scenes?
*Risk Management
*Psychology
*Sentiment
*News effect on market
Though not specifically limited to these topics.
I’m currently reading “Risk: a philosophical introduction to the theory of risk evaluation and management” by Nicholas Rescher which has been a real eye opener to the way I handle my risk in everything.
Thanks
I will try to answer
What’s happening behind the scenes?
I think you’d better buy some magazines like “the economist” to understand what NOW is happening behind the scenes.
Risk Management
“Enterprise Risk Management” by Robert Kolb
"A Trader’s Money Management System" by Mcdowell
"The Mathematics of Money Management: Risk Analysis Techniques for Traders" by Ralph Vince
Psychology
I would highly reccomend Dr. Pipslow articles (Pipsychology - Forex Blog: Psychology of Forex Currency Trading)
Then, these are the books:
“Investment Psychology Explained” by Martin Pring
"Psychology Of Investing" by John Nofsinger
If you want have fun you can take a look at “The new market wizards” by Jack Schwager" (my first book lol)
Sentiment
I think Steve Nison’s book are the best
News effect on market
“International Trade and Finance” by Benjamin Cohen
"The Trader’s Guide to Key Economic Indicators" by Richard Yamarone
As in Warner Bros’ cartoons… "that’s all folks"
Good luck :50:
