Brokers server, help?!

I demo trade with oanda, but im sure this question applies to all trading platforms.

Say i successfully opened a position one day with a stoploss and my internet connection went down shortly after executing the position… And in the mean time whilst i was fixing my internet connection, (unknown to me)the price of the pair hit my stoploss level.

What would happen? Would my stoploss be honoured on Oandas server? Or would i log back into my account and have to settle for an exit way below my stoploss level?

As long as your stop loss, or even take profit is in place before you lose connection, meaning it was received, it would work :slight_smile:
