Buying the GBP/USD

What do you think of buying the GBP/USD as an long term investment?

Considering the Brexit uncertainty, don’t you think that’s when the situation begins to settle that the pound will rebound?
Any opinions on this general concept?

Under Trump reign, scalping should be a wise choice since USD is now unpredictable because of his controversial decisions.

I see, now we are in a daily range; so I am interested to buy in only 1.2694 (support level).

If you are thinking about long term investing you should stick with stocks. Use Forex for short term trading.

The pound is historically cheap at this time but I am not personally convinced we have seen the bottom yet.

Taking in to account that there is a negative cost of carry too. I wouldn’t consider this as an investment but rather a long term speculation that will require daily financing for years.

No thanks.

If you want a long term investment, you should consider real estate, stocks that pay dividends or peer to peer lending. In Europe, some platforms offer net returns of about 11% per year.

If it must be forex, then at least consider a pair with a positive cost of carry but use very, very low leverage…

Its peoples number 1 favorite currency to trade. Mine at least. I never had much luck with Eur/usd.

Just keep watching Brexit news for GBP/USD.

At the moment, any technical analysis or data from the UK will not help, most important is follow about Brexit information, because they have the biggest impact on current movements.
