Can anyone reccomend good forex training course in AUSTIN, TX. or ONLINE?

Guys, I’ve been looking for a good, intensive, training course, preferably in Austin, Tx., but I’m open to online training as well. I’d like to stay away from the “One-Day learn all you need to know” courses, I’d like somewhere to return to for a while, that really takes time to help you practice each section.

Can anyone suggest such a place? Can anyone offer alternatives to what I’m looking for?

THANK you so very much!!

Appreciative,
Rod

Heres what I did and it only cost me $500.

Step 1 - Read the School of Pipsology two times

Step 2 - Open a demo account for two weeks

Step 3 - Open a live account, send in $500.

Step 4 - Practice on the demo account until your live account is activated

Step 5 - Have your demo and live account both running, when you think you found a trade to act on, place the trade on your demo account, do that for about 30 minutes.

Step 6 - When your so excited and cant wait anymore, place trades on your live account.

You might blow your $500 but if your careful it will take you about a week to do so, you cant go anywhere for a week and learn what you will learn blowing your $500.

Thats the best advise I have. This isnt a joke. This is what I did, then I funded my account again with $1,000 and its slowly growing for me.

Best of Luck,

Rob

Ive got to make a cut and paste answer to this question that comes up 50,000 times a day !

Not for nothing, but youre posting this at one of the best training sites around !

While no doubt in a hurry to own the Maserati, the trophy wife, the mansion down the street and to tarry with a cowboys cheerleader, this old man suggests you make haste slowly and start by simply reading and studying what can be learned at the pipsology school — as good a class as can be found !

Understand that forex is like anything worth doing — it takes time just to become “competent” and a heck of a longer time to become “excellent !”

since you dont even have a clue at this point of what you DONT know, simply put one foot in front of the other, read and study, try new things on a demo (open that demo with ONLY the amount you will actually use when you open a real account ---- it is a disservice to yourself to open a $50K account with its great cushion of margin, when youre only gonna have $500 when you open the real account.)

if you wipe out that account, get another ---- and so on till you can make 8 out of 10 HONEST good trades !

It takes a while to learn money management (the MOST IMPORTANT thing for a newb !) and i will bet anything you will blow 3 accounts till you learn its importance, and one does need to control fear and greed, the two horseman of the appocalypse for traders ---- actually making profit is kinda simple once you have the rest under control.

My hint of the day is FOLLOW THE BLOODY MAJOR TREND, so now is the time to learn how to do that. If you trade with the trend, even when youre wrong in the short term, youll find youre right just down the road, but trade counter to the trend and you shall find yourself broken and bloody, with all those beautiful women (who could have been yours) passing you by quickly and hanging out with that pimpled nerd, over there in the corner ---- the one with the LARGE bank account and your Maserati. Heck, some of them might even be cheerleaders from Dallas !

enjoy and trade well

Within the great hall at Elfinore stands a wondrous coffer, precisely four cubits square and securely latched against the outside world. Inside that repository, shut away from impertinent eyes, abides many an intriquing trading secret garnered from around the world and over the ages !

As a child, i used to watch from the darkness as the secrets were debated and annotated by the elders. No one there held a single thought of my presence – BUT I KNOW WHERE THEY HID THE KEY !!

=) Awesome, thanks guys for an informative and hilarious read! Good advice… I never thought of it that way.
