hi, i had dominate a trading system “the amazing crossover” its in the hall of fame post in this forum, i back tested my strategy and works fine, its makes profit from 6 months and the demo result are pretty the same, 2 mounths and make profits, when i had a streak loss i lost 15% in a month, i ask help to my friend that had being trading for 5 years, and tell me that i had to read and watch steve nisson research about price action, but he warned me that i cant combine mechanical trading with price action.
Its that true? i can’t confirm a signal from my system with price action? or its going to be very dificult that my system and price action style confirm each other?
Why not combine them? What is the problem?

That’s weird… Every mechanical system I made was based on price action.
I suggest you stop taking advice from him and educate yourself.
