I do have my own arb robot, and it works frighteningly well, with the right brokers (currently through MT4, though I am going to port it to JForex shortly and give dukas a go). I’m just having trouble finding an ECN that accepts american customers through MT4. MB Trading’s servers seem way too flaky for me to go through them.
It has been really interesting to see how some brokers are more prone to providing good arb entry signals compared to others. Some of them seem to NEVER show a profitable arb opportunity. I wonder if this is more often the case with dealers who manipulate prices at a higher level?
A simple answer to your question is no. All trading transaction stays within one broker. You are not actually trading within one broker, rather you are buying from and selling to your broker. One broker is who you trade with. However, you can open different account with different broker, but you cant buy from one and sell to the other.
Actually it depends of a broker type, if deal directly with the liquidity provider you are actually in the market. However, you have to have to separate accounts so you have to figure-out the way to connect those. Al those operations take time. I don’t see how it can be profitable. The prices are changing 5 times per second (in average), and I don’t think that the price difference is so big.
I understand what do you mean but i don’t think that it would help you in the long run and you would be hugely benefited and i do not know any broker those would provide you this type of facility. If you are not happy with the facilities of your current broker then either you should discontinue with them or you need to ask directly to them about this type of option.
Our all trade is done through broker . We do work on their trading platform where we buy or sell on our preferred market position. we can do trading with more than one broker but not possible to buy from one and sell to another.
