Candle formation and price across multiple timeframes (backtesting)

Hello babypips community,

i have the following question…

why is the price in the first pic ( 5min timeframe) not the same as in pic 2 (1h timeframe) ?

both are at 08:00am and both candles are fully opened and closed in this period

there is no “live formation” of the candles in tradingview right ?

for example (it depends on the strategy of course) its better to time the entry on a lower timeframe but is this an accurate representation of the price movement in this example here ?

i searched for info in the forum but could not find anything really helpful for this example here.

You should be asking the respective broker for the exact answer… They will investigate better…

there is no broker connected to this account.
this is a paper trading account on tradingview.

so this is not normal right and this should not happen on a regular basis ?
