I am currently fairly new to trading and I wanted to know what was the pros/cons of CFD, spreadbetting and Metatrading and if one was the better than the other in trading?

Be aware that regulators are considering drastically cutting leverage available on SB and CFD’s in the UK. A consultation is open and there is no timetable for when this might be imposed. But it could make these routes to participate in the market unviable for small account sizes.
