That’s a big one!

We get WWII bombs being dug up all the time in the UK too, I’m sure in Germany its far worse. I’ll never forget touring the Somme battlefields in northern France and seeing stacks of shells dug out by farmers, just sitting there waiting patiently for the police to come over after each ploughing season and haul them away. These things are from 1916, when maybe 30% of British shells failed to detonate.

Wow, that’s a really high number…amazing they last this long intact.
