Choosing a Micro account

Hi,

Can you please help me choosing a micro account where the pips are as low as possible and minimum roll over charges? I just don’t know which one to choose as there are so many!

Thanks

I recommend FXCM due to l33t slippage and unbeatable 5-9 pip spreads

I’ve been trading live for over two years with ibfx on a mini account. With them you can trade between 1cent - $50. per pip lot size.

You can also trade fractions inbetween, so it makes risk control and compounding/ decompounding much easier. So, if you want to trade $10.76 per pip you could.

Also, in all that time I’ve had a disconnect one time from the trade server, rebooted the platform and was up within 2 minutes again.

Online chat help is the best I’ve run into, with any service, as well.

If you start a demo with them make sure you specify it’s mini and small starting size. Otherwise it defaults to a regular account and 50k.

You’ll know it’s a mini account because all the pairs will have a lower case, “m,” next to them.

I’m another IBFX trader and am quite satisfied also. I recommend them as I trade in a mini account and they’ve recently lowered their spreads considerably making it much better to trade with them.

quite a few good ones… ibfx, fxopen, fxcm…

Just recently opened an account with ibfx, so far so good with the setup. Funding my account soon.

Thank you all for your recommendations. What about the rollover charges? Are they low with these brokers?

Thanks

IBFX mini account holder here, they are wonderful, I highly recommend them. I came from MicroFX and had way too many spread fluctuations.

As for rollover, it depends on your lot size, check out IBFX’s site, they will break down everything for you.

I have been using FXCM Micro For about 3 months and I am planning on switching to IBFX. Aside from other issues others have mentioned with FXCM (spreads/slippage), in the first two months they had two outages so not a very good track record, maybe an anomaly, but that gave me a good reason to search for a new broker. So as others have said, IBFX would be my vote.

Thank you so much, it’s been really helful. You guys are great!!!

hello there…

forgive me for this silly question but i was on ibfx website and i see the mini accounts but not the micro accounts… am i missing something id like to start a micro account? thanks

I believe they only have mini and regular. Doesn’t matter though, no minimum to open and you can trade one cent a pip.

Hi,
I´ve been trading live with ALPARI UK for 1 year, and i had no problems at all. Low spreads and allow to trade micro lots.
