Hi everyone!
i wanted to learn more about code to develop robot in trading?
what kind of code is it to develop with robot? is it a good technique to trade with robot?
i read few stuff but i didn’t find something really interesting… im a web designer use to code php, html and action script and i wanted to know if its so hard and too specific to learn the ‘robot’ code for someone that use to have few skills in coding.
i know u can do it with mt4, but there is a better and specific platform for this?

First off, I do not write Robots AKA Expert Advisors but i do know a few things that might help.
Generally speaking in the retail forex world when people speak of robots or EA’s they are referring to a script written in MQL4 (or 5) that work with Metatrader 4 (or 5 respectively). Coding an EA will probably be easy for someone that know C++ or a similar language. It is a relatively easy to learn programming language (or so I’m told).
As far as trading robots in other languages or for other platforms I have not heard of any but I have not really looked… all I do know is that EAs for MT4 are very common.
Just a quick suggestion, before you get to coding you should learn how to trade first otherwise you won’t know know what to code in the first place.
Thx! yeah for sure! im just looking to see what is the best way to start trading for myself! if i use robot thats really productive, i mean if i can win more with robot?
The best way to learn how to trade is by trading. In addition a trader does not win, a trader earns money. Gamblers win. The only truly productive robot would be one you coded with your own strategy which brings me back to what I said earlier that you need to learn how to trade.

You can code any strategy which is based on technical analysis.

there are trading platform? and u can code directly on it? or u need a special software? so i have to find a broker with this platform? or i can use it with all the broker??
