The Canadian, Australian and New Zealand dollars have surged over the past 12 hours against the benchmark US currency. Producing major breakouts and forging new multi-month highs, we need to determine whether this revitalized trend has the fuel to maintain its trajectory or if this was the last gasp for an otherwise aggressive few months of price action. Considering many of the commodity bloc crosses have not taken up the same momentum as their major counterparts, the answer may not be as straightforward as one would expect.
