Hi everyone,
I’m Amy from the UK and new to Babypip school. On my 19th session and if nothing else I’m really enjoying learning about a new topic. At the moment I’ve no hard plans to start trading - firstly I’d like to learn lots and get a sense if it’s something I’d like to pursue.
Not being in a rush, if and I when I decide to progress I’ll start demo trading. I realise that if I rush in, I’ll simply fail and not come back to it.
I’ve been building a stock portfolio, but don’t really apply much technical intelligence to it! Just follow stock tips. Also building a UK property ISA investment. Intrigued how this could sit alongside my longer term work and financial plans.
Looking forward to getting involved in some chat.
Amy
Hi Amy! Good to see a fellow future female trader here! Hope you keep at it and don’t fall into the get rich quick trap! Good luck and if you encounter any trouble/questions, the folks here are pretty helpful so feel free to post again!
Ho there. My name is Simon, and I’m entirely new to both Forex and Babypips. I’m 19 turning 20 in a month, I’m still in school (Although I’m probably spending too much time reading about Fx rather than doing work), and I love Reading books.
Recently a friend of mine introduced me to both Forex and Babypips and I’m very glad he did. I’ve discovered a passion for Forex over the past month and I absolutely love learning about it. There’s a lot more to Forex than I originally thought (and I like that), so I’m going to stick with it and perhaps one day make some moneys out of it.
I still have a bit of a way to go before I even start trading a demo account seriously, and even longer til I start making some money off Forex, so I’m going to take it slow and learn as much as I can until I know I’m ready.
And I’d just like to mention that the Babypips community is probably the best and most helpful community I’ve ever encountered on the internet. I’m excited to learn, and I know that the wonderful people here are here to help.
Thanks guys!
Also, I would love to join under the teachings of Dr Pipslow!
