Sometimes I preffer to watch a video, but most of the time I like to read. Anyway, here I open a thread for interesting video material. Pleas guys, take your time to select what are you going to post here and no strategies, pls, that stuff is really boring. Try to be unique.
I like to read stories and watch the movie that plays in my mind, however I’d rather watch “how to” stuff. I found this helpful in understanding certain concepts… I’m sure Oliver Velez is controversial, but this video is good at explaining the footprints of big money…and won’t put you to sleep
Ok, here is one of the best I’ve seen
Do you want to know why the majority of traders hold their losing trades more than their winners? Maybe it is embedded in our DNA…
I found this interview of Jason Hoerr really inspiring:
Nice videos there. Thanks for sharing…
This series is like a documentary of a Reality TV Experiment in creating traders out of average people.
Great video Yunny. It might make evolutionary sense, as a small loss or a highly risky endeavor in the wild might mean the difference between life or death. But trading is a very different kind of jungle.
dunno, sounds like another sales pitch
can’t trust anybody
Everyone’s a cynic. There are no sales pitches if you continue beyond the intro. The interview is about how he became a trader and his views on trading which sound quite intelligent.
For e.g. @ 11: 33 - He says anyone who can come up with an effective quantitative approach (as in a trading bot) is never going to sell it.
And he is saying this while using and developing a few himself.
Part 1 of 6?: Mark Douglas on following your method and being consistant
I’ve watched the 6 parts of this and it’s very good, so good I fully intend to read one of his books, eventually.
