Looks like we got a bit of a mix up here. I’m far from the profitable trader yet (at least on a live account anyways), so I’m not the one to give specific advice on trading.
However, and this goes for the OP @zirohnil, I assume you decided to make your enquiry on here at the BP forum for a reason.
In light of that, in here, when members like @tommor, @dpaterso @eddieb and @frandlost offer solicited advice generally in the same direction, you should listen. Some of them have been here and trading profitably longer than most newbies have been trading.
Do me favor please @zirohnil, next time someone here offers you advice, spend an hour or two reading up on many of their other posts on the forum. It helps to know who to trust or advices to really follow.
None of these men told you to “never use an indicator” or “never trade this way or that way”. That’s because they know there are virtually a million different ways to be profitable in the markets.
@dpaterso for example does not trade the Spot forex markets, but he’s still profitable at what he does.
The problem with newbies is we always want “Some expert” to tell us “exactly what to do” in order to trade profitably. That’s really not possible IMO.
General advice is the best you can hope for @zirohnil, and not some experienced guys telling you to stay away from the RSI indicator or Price Action.
Be wise, I’m sure @MrDE and @G.O.Kodson meant well with their submissions but that is “THEIR OWN PERSPECTIVES” on how not to trade
Find your way BY YOURSELF and you will never be lost again.
