Having into consideration the moment that we are passing (financial crisis), should a new guy to Forex wait until it passes so it can experience the normal market in Demo Trading?
It makes sense to me. What do you guys think?
To be honest I think you can get some benefit out of demo trading the current market. With the volatility so extremely high in both the stocks and currency markets, if nothing else it will certainly make you be more careful with your trades and give you a real understanding of what “volatile market” really means.
Trading a demo account is however much different from putting your hard earned cash in there and the emotional connection to your own money is something that can’t be described, it must be experienced first hand. I opened an account with a small amount, got up quickly and then got margin called into submission so this time around I am taking it slow. My goal is to break even on any trade and not leave some huge amount floating in profit or in loss but each person is different.
