I Just looked at charts & news , this was a risky trade to me as the high impact news was positive {Bullsh} for GBP so a GBP/USD trade would have been a call but due to there being 14 pieces of News at this time {lower impact} and most was negative for GBP this seems to have pushed price down {Bearish} for GBP/USD.
Good job on the ITM trade though Boomer

Hey Boomer , you`ve got me a little confused mate ! the GBP news was all positive which is Bullish for GBP so you would take a call on this pair as GBP has strengthened at this news and on my charts on GBP /USD at the news release 09:30 GMT price went up
And It`s OIL Wednesday again guys , anyone going in ? or any views from anyone watching !!

Well i got in very late with a CALL 15.43 but it looks like ITM for 16.00

Well, ITM but not by much. I guess a win is a win. But where did those big price spikes go where it will keep you ITM even when there is a retracement. I consider this a gambling win.
I missed it - got in very close to the news breaking (though my brokers platform put me in the trade at the best price for the broker, funny when the trade goes my way in the first 5 secs I get price change if it goes their way the trade opens straight up) -
was ITM with 10secs to go but it then went south and put me OTM. Seems to be happening a lot

Ahhh - it’s one of the ****ty Tech Financial brokers, yes-option. I should of known better. When you start out with tech broker all is good, you can even get into the trade before the platform has time to respond. There is a slight delay.
When you start to do well they introduce slippage and price change to give them the best chance.
Next time I think I’ll try IG markets so you can trade direct from MT4

I will be trading the USD/CAD because the two currencies have a large amount of volume traded through them each day, this means that the news will have a dramatic effect on what way the price moves and also the news of high importance which is important to me when trading due to the more important the news the more the market reacts, the more the market reacts the more likely i am going to profit, i have chosen a 30 minute trade because as we have seen in the past when we decided to trade over 15 minutes this does not give the market enough time to react because of profit taking.
30 minutes should give us enough time to make the right decision and profit whether the news is good or bad on the CAD.
Hey Denham , will the 4 other USD news at the same time affect the Usd / Cad pair trade at 13:30 ? I was thinking Eur/Cad may also be an option ? any Input on previous posts appreciated , thanks .
Do you think the jobless claims report for usd could interfere with the cad news? It will be coming out at the same time.
