Yup Boomer I got bit by that spike up again , we shall see , maybe the trick is wait 2 minutes on oil trade news before entering, also Gold shot right up at that news , maybe watch that also next week !!
Also can these other 2 pieces of negative news be the cause of the weakening Dollar at this time and outweighs the Oil news ?
Deeply OTM for me that makes last 0/3 weeks loss on Oil for me , to rich for my blood.

i waited 5 mins - couldn’t work out why it didn’t go down. Made a put call, it went down but got stung by it shooting back up. Must be because of the additional news items.

I didnt like how those two were red and oil was green, so I stayed out. I don’t know what happened to Denham, but this is a nice thread, and I will keep posting news trades, and soon, my Nadex trades on indicies and currencies,too.
Here is some info that can be used as a good reference for us, I followed this previously in 60 sec trades and it is good Info, these are a few of the best news “spikes” to trade with so be ready. For the largest spikes and market moves look only for High Impact News. Some Medium Impact News or Speeches may also trigger market movement and profitable trend cycles as well:

I didn’t touch any news trades today. I followed another trader into a winning Nadex trade on the S&P 500.
Well I could`nt sleep so I traded the Aussie at the 02:30 GMT News, as the news was not much higher than expected I decided to wait for the move up and took a 30 Min put near the top of the exhaustion candle : ITM 
I will start looking at the news again next week. I am happy just following a signal caller for now.

Hi AmishBuggy , We don`t have Nadex in UK so am not quite sure of how this works , I think IG is similar / same ? I was going to check out the Nadex thread at BOD / BOE as David and some of the Guys seem to be up on it , have you just started trading this way ? what are your thoughts ?
I took 3 EOD trades 2 Cable Calls @ 1.67381 + 1.67389 and a Eur / Jpy Put @ 139.7600 , will post results later. :51:

Hey Boomer , I never traded Crude Oil today as the other 2 news events were positive where as the Oil news was negative , in hindsight it was similar to last week so we could have taken a Put trade after the news release and ended ITM , something to be aware of next time !!

I tried trading with Nadex about a year ago, and got my butt handed to me. It is so different from the other brokers out there. The thread on BOD has a ton of strategies to trade nadex, or IG for those outside of the USA.
I know they are a highly regulated company and the most reliable choice for me. They cant run off over the weekend and disappear with my money. I was just so frustrated with my performance, I decided to stop thinking and just follow someone else’s instruction until I get a decent balance built up. I missed the signal this morning while I was at work. Had I took a trade, I would have won with the Nasdaq 100. 
I traded the CAD news at 15:00 GMT and took EUR/CAD as I felt there was too much USD News around and that may affect a USD/CAD trade negatively .I waited a minute or so after the release and then I took a 30min Call at the negative news release which took 15min to make up its mind then took off like a rocket , Deep ITM
Another $30 win on Nadex. I closed early as my profit target was hit…
