Day trading chart and strategies

hello everyone so far, i have completed 5 courses but things are getting more confusing I’m still unable to figure out which chart should i use before, i was using 5 minute chart thinking that it will be better to trade using momentum indicators but signals are very confusing, my budget is going to be between 100-200 dollars so can anyone suggest which time chart and proven strategies i can use.

Hi, from H1 to D1. Regards Greg

IMO, money makes money. $100-$200 doesn’t cut the mustard, and unless you gamble and get lucky it will take you years to see any significant growth to your capital.

That’s the reality.

Apart from my live accounts, I’m FTMO demo practising lot sizes and S/L on a $50,000 100:1 leverage, < !% risk - today, one trade ‘cost’ me $76. A winning trade would have exceeded $100.

On the assumption that I’m trading profitably, and for comparison purposes, I could be making a weekly average of $400 minimum.

As you can see from the maths, you wouldn’t be able to get anywhere near that with low capital outlay. There is an alternative, fork out $100+ for the lowest cost FTMO challenge and see how you get on in a bubble that could see you break through to managing large accounts proficiently.

While my figures above are far short of their $2,500 30 day profit target, at least you’ll get another free ride if you land up in profit. At worst, you’ll learn a heck of a lot more in 30 days than months of fiddling around with micro lot sizes.

And that’s a killer, believe me.

BTW keep strategy as simple as possible. best of luck.
