Some brokers even have the option of simultaneous opening of demo and live accounts by the same user, like how I have it with Fxview. This I think is a very helpful feature where you can easily compare real time whether the demo environment that you are being provided is close to the live trading conditions or not. I personally use both accounts of same broker to test any strategy first on demo account of the broker and then on the live of the same broker, I know that commissions and other fees are same so approx. how much can I expect to make. I even have a live account with IG but not a demo account, new with them, not sure if they give the option of using both types of accounts at the same time with them or not, any IG users here?
I suppose as a demo trader we ought to try to make our demo experience as live-like as possible.
No it’s not. And if there was one, I would suggest not going for it. The whole idea of using a demo account is to experience a live kind of trading environment.
