Can anyone recommend some demo accounts sites I can use to practice, please? I have an android device and a Chromebook which I will be using.

Try IC markets using MT4 or MT5 platforms. I’ve been using them for demo and live accounts since 2018.
I started with Oanda, they are very good. Also MT4 allows you to create demo accounts pretty easily.
I’ve also tried using Oanda because of the pretty easy user interface. 
I liked it because I’m not a very techy person. 
Do you have any particular brokers you’re looking at?
Try fxview, quite liked their trading conditions.
There is no scarcity of platforms out there and you’ll be fine if you go with a regulated broker. Most people open demo accounts to check the quality of a broker so you can just list out some reputed ones and get started. Xm, Lcg, Ig, Fxview are some options and their demos are fine. I myself have used them so I know that they provide actual market data, so they are good for practice. You can explore and research more for a better understanding.
