Demo Trading

Hi Guys and Girls.
Great site.
Spent a lot of time in the school.
Learned a lot.
But the school only made me see how little I realy know about this game.
Interested more in the the psychology of the markets and where we are today and and where we will be in 12 months from now than following the 15 or 60 minute charts. Nothing wrong with that, but I am seeing trends that last 2, 3, even 6 months. I am looking at the economic data from this standpoint. Any recommendations for a broker to start demo trading would be appreciated. Would like to demo trade for at least 4 weeks to learn the x and o’s of a few trading platforms. Then it’s time to jump in for real with real money and a real plan. I want to start out small and conservative in approach.
And continue building from a strong foundation
Again, great site and thanks to babypips for providing an easy to learn base for people to get started.

IBFX has an unexpiring demo account, so I highly recommend them. Oanda and FXCM also have great demo accounts that you can start with. Oanda allows you to select your starting capital while I think FXCM starts you off with $50000. As long as you understand that your not going to start off with this level of capital, you should be alright. GFT would be my last recommendation. You cam demo with them for only one month. They have great charting and a clean interface, but beware, as their marketing team will call you 3 times a day until you sign up with them. Best of luck.
