Difference Between MINI and MICRO accounts

I was reading a few other threads on here and ran across someone saying that leverage only affects you rmargin. High leverage grants you more margin, which in turn allows you to trade bigger lots - but an important thing that people miss is that you do not HAVE to trade bigger.

That’s what kept throwing me off. So many people assume that with higher leverage you’ll be engaged in larger trades, but that’s not necessarily the case.

That’s exactly right. Higher leverage [I]allows for but does not mandate[/I] trading bigger or more different positions.
