Hi there im Ryan from the UK, still quite new to forex trading and mainly putting all my time into educating myself in depth about this type of trading instead of chasing the money (for now lol). Having started the school of pipsology i have also opened two demo trading account with Trading 212 and also CMC markets. However, when i open up a 15 minute chart on the EUR/USD or any currency pair really on the two different platforms the prices and price action are completley different. For example the price may be shooting up on trading 212 but then fallin on CMC markets. Like i said im still quite new to this but shouldn’t all prices and movements be roughly the same or is this how different brokers work. Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated and i look forward to engaging in discussion
There should be very little to no difference in price on 1 hour or lower timeframes. And if there is: one of those brokers is ■■■■■■■ with you.
Anything above: there may be differences because the two brokers may have different closing times for their price bars (particularly and issue on the daily timeframes). This simply due to the fact that the brokers may be closing off their daily bars (and four hour and two hour or whatever) at different times.
Have you double-checked both charts are on the same time-frame? And one does not have the invert display option selected?
And both are definitely EUR/USD? I mean, the USD/EUR chart exists also and will be automatically contradictory.
Sometimes it happens because of having different session on daily chart! But market maker brokers manipulate chart intentionally!
