Do scalpers use commission based on spread brokers?

hi all
I’m testing some random scalping techniques through 2 test accounts from the same broker, one commission based with very tight spread and one spread based only.
for entry and exit point i find the commission based a lot easier since theress not a lot of difference in the bid/ask price, however their commission is about 7$ per lot (3.5 both ways).

At the end of a trading day, the commission is average around 35% of total trades. is this normal?

Also if I calculate the cost per pip on such scalping (higher lots purchased) I dont think that the spread will come out any cheaper

Trading is a minus sum game, the more we trade, the more we will lose. Never go for scalping, one will soon discover that all our monies will be sucked by the brokers.
