Do you trade as soon as the markets open on a Sunday?

Or do you wait until Monday?

I always wait till Monday, and even then I often let trades pass. My strategy relies on previous day action, and so I don’t really trust Sunday, and Monday. Tues thru Friday are my trading days.

I always start trading from the European Open, so this is always from early Monday morning. Weekend gaping can usually skew trading immediately after the markets re-open.

I normally wait till Tuesday, and often give Friday a miss.

I never trade on the Sunday. I will wait until londons opening on Monday morning before I trade an on both Mondays and Fridays I will risk half of what I normally risk on other weekdays.

I try to see if there is a gap.
If there is a big gap I’ll place my orders on it being filled. If not, I’ll wait till Tuesday.

I wait until Monday and after observing market move start trading.

I just trade my set ups no matter what session they occur. Since I use limit orders exclusively the market gets me in anyway. Although most liquidity does occur in LO or Nyo it has never proven in all my records to make a difference for my system. I only avoid days where we are missing major action due to holidays.

I do not typically trade Sundays but that does not mean I would not. Just how I trade I typically do not get setups. The few time I have traded Sundays have been profitable. So its not that I will not trade Sunday but I am still enjoying my weekend playing with my kids and all. If I see a good setup I will take it but I am not usually looking at charts. I do always look at the gap as it tends to give me a feel for the week.
