(I’m just making the point, in my semi-facetious way, that the two options you offer are by no means mutually exclusive: there are many people making a living without trading full-time and probably even more trading full-time without making a living.)

Thank you for the reply. I guess I was trying to ask - if someone earns everything (or atleast most - say 90%) from forex, or do they make only a small part (say 25 %) from forex.

I guess such traders, that trade for living, are very rare on this forum. But there are traders that totally live on forex earning, either by trading fully on it or trading + selling forex both.

I am still struggling with forex and trying to see if I can make even 10% of what is needed to survive financially from forex. I hope I will get there soon enough.

I do not trade for living it is a part time business for me . I like forex for many reasons. I do reasonable investment and make good profits from it. This market suits me for extra earning. Many people want to invest higher amount to make a living from forex . It is their choice they can do this with skill of trading.

I don’t think it is a good idea trying to speed up your learning process. More important is to get there even if takes longer.
