Does a daily or 4h candle need to close before it's valid?

I was wondering before entering a trade. Should you wait for the candle to close before it’s valid.

For instance when you see on the daily chart a pin bar at a relevant support area and you want to trade based on that, but the candle isn’t closed yet. Should you wait or just take the trade based on the current situation?

@Thym-on unless this pin bar is not breaking through a level which you consider significant, better wait for that daily/4h candle to close

In short yes always wait for your trigger timeframe candle to close as stops getting in to soon and you know the correct entry point based on the close
