A friend and I use the same methodology when we trade, and so offer some support. We have been involved in various businesses together over many years and we are learning this now.
It can be useful to have another set of eyes, but unless you are following the same system as the other person/s then I think all they could possibly offer is some moral support
I trade with Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, they help me out alot. They even tell me where they are about to move the markets, this is a great help.
Wow, I also trade with Goldman Sachs… as soon as they announce a trade I go the opposite way… 
I trade with the 100k+ friends and entertaining folk here at bpips (well noted, Dale!). I have an ex Goldman friend who trades too whom I debate ideas with but ultimately am a fan of taking my own view. That way, I lose, it is my fault. Fortunately the trend is currently my friend. But my Goldman buddy is good value. So are that firm’s pronouncements

But certainly agree with the comment about aliens. There are not many of my friends who would get the attraction of this business if I told them about it.
This has got to be the funniest reply with Dale coming a close second. The weird part though, some mentoring groups do exist on the frills. You can usually find them under “self styled forex gurus”. To be fair, there’re quite a few talented traders out there who do provide valuable info, provided you can pay the high end entry fees.
Heck, if I had $7000 sitting around, I would be in Singapore, having a vacation…sigh guess I need one, soon.
I join forex group . I do not trade with them But they are very helpful to lear different things about forex trading,I discuss with them my problems. Some of their advice and strategies are very helpful to do real trading.Main trading is on self based expeirence.Our experience make us skilled when we see the result of trading and try to improve it.
I normally ask friends for trade ideas. Sometimes its good to get a different point of view or free analysis. I rarely trade on friends ideas though

Ayone feel so lost like me? I studied forex for 2 months thru babypips and thru alot of candlesticks courses but i cant find myself to find any trade opportunities while watching eu and gu. Am going crazy. Everyday felt lost
Not to marginalize your effort but two months is nothing 
expect to put in about two years before things start really clicking…
I only trade by myself, but I sometimes refer experienced trader for my trade (through forums and forex websites).

I have a few friends I’ve made on the forums and we correspond regarding doubts about long-term bias & analysis and tools but as far as entering the market I do that on my own. ._.

i have a couple of trading friends. But we trade alone, but discuss the markets. FYI we never meet because of forex. We all live in different countries
