Does having a mentor increases your chances of being a successful trader?

Trading like any other skillset is full of uncertainties, “As a beginner you need a mentor to guide and direct you on all need to help reduce these uncertainties”, they often say. What happens when you can’t afford one? You don’t survive?

yes but depends on the mentor. there is a lot of scammers out there

if you have a really good mentor, it increase by 5 your probabilities to become profitable

but like you should know. its not because you have a good mentor that you’ll be 100% sure to be profitable, there is a lot effort to put within your side. and a lot fails. but you increase the odds , yes

dont say “I cant afford this or this”, say “how can I afford this?”

I feel the majority of traders have learned to trade through self-learning. The adage may hold true in an era where reliable information was not as easily available as today.

You can find a mentor but if that mentor sucks or is one that’s only looking out for himself then you’re better off doing things yourself.
