Drawing short horizonal lines on MT4

Greetings,

How do you draw a “short” horizontal line on MT4? the horizontal lines I draw always seems to stretch from sunrise to sunset. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

I use the trendline drawing toll to draw short horizontal lines - i.e draw a flat trendline. To shorten the trendline, go into the trendline properties and untick the ‘Ray’ box on the Parameters tab.

Caesar95, you could also try using “Insert\Shapes\Rectangle”. Just flatten the rectangle to whatever thickness you like.
